On October 11, the Bureau of Economy and Information Technology of Panzhihua City and the Federation of Industry and Commerce of Panzhihua City jointly organized a special training workshop on intelligent transformation and digital transformation for private enterprises in Panzhihua City. The workshop featured specially invited lectures by Li Shaokun, Director of the Big Data and Informatization Division of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology; and Song Yingzhong, Director of the Project Investment and Financing Research Center at the Institute of Political Finance at the Central University of Finance and Economics, Deputy Director of the Investment and Financing Specialized Committee of the China Engineering Consulting Association, and Chairman of Zhongtou Zeshi (Beijing) International Consulting Co., Ltd. The two experts took to the stage together, offering profound insights and practical experience to provide robust theoretical support and technical guidance for Panzhihua's private enterprises as they accelerate their journey toward intelligent transformation and digitalization.

The training session was chaired by Comrade Zhou Zhiyong, the full-time Vice Chairman of the Panzhihua City Federation of Industry and Commerce. More than 100 participants attended the training, including heads of key private industrial enterprises across the city, heads of various directly affiliated chambers of commerce and associations under the city’s Federation of Industry and Commerce, as well as officials from the bureaus of economy and information technology and the Federations of Industry and Commerce in each county (district).

Director Li Shaokun, under the theme “Sharing Experiences in Intelligent Transformation and Digital Transition of Manufacturing in Sichuan Province,” took a macroscopic perspective to thoroughly analyze the significance of “intelligent transformation and digital transition” in the context of new-style industrialization and their profound impact on promoting high-quality development of manufacturing in Sichuan Province and across the country. Through detailed data analysis and vivid case studies, Director Li showcased to the participants the achievements Sichuan Province has made in recent years in advancing the transformation and upgrading of its industrial economy, while also highlighting key issues and challenges that will require focused attention in future work.

Subsequently, Chairman Song Yingzhong, drawing on his professional insights and extensive experience in investment and financing, delivered an engaging lecture titled “Seeking Business Opportunities Amidst Change, Pursuing Development Under Pressure—Investment and Financing Project Planning in the New Context.” First, Chairman Song provided an in-depth interpretation of “intelligent transformation and digital upgrading” under the new paradigm of quality-driven productivity, explaining how these initiatives can propel enterprises to revolutionize their production methods and enhance efficiency. Next, he offered a penetrating analysis of the latest economic conditions and trends, guiding participants to build a fundamental framework for understanding the dynamics of China’s economic development. In the section on an overview of financing policies and models, he meticulously reviewed various current financing channels and policy benefits, providing businesses with a practical guide to overcoming funding challenges. Finally, by selecting a number of successful Zeshi Consulting projects as case studies, he closely integrated theoretical knowledge with practical application, offering a thorough and detailed explanation and analysis of the key points involved in project planning and financing under the new circumstances.

They visited the mineral products logistics distribution center in the Midi Logistics Park, gaining an in-depth understanding of the current status and future plans for the region’s modern logistics industry. Furthermore, they held a symposium and exchange with the state-owned platform company in the eastern district. During the discussion, both sides engaged in a thorough dialogue on issues such as how to revitalize state-owned assets and enhance the dynamism of regional economic development, reaching several important consensuses.
