Demonstrating the role of a think tank and injecting vitality into the development of the engineering consulting industry—“Zeshi Consulting” was invited to deliver a special lecture for the Hubei Provincial Engineering Consulting Association.

To meet the needs of engineering consulting firms for business expansion under the new circumstances and to help engineering consulting professionals further enhance their professional competence and strengthen their specialized skills, the Hubei Provincial Engineering Consulting Association held the 2023 Engineering Consulting Business Training Program in Wuhan from December 6 to 8, 2023. This training was conducted through a combination of online and offline formats, with nearly 300 participants from more than 80 member organizations attending the program.

For this training event, we have specially invited three experts from Zeshi Think Tank—Song Yingzhong, Ren Bing, and Zhou Lang—to deliver specialized lectures on relevant topics, thereby “recharging and empowering” the participating trainees.

As AI technology continues to develop and mature, the engineering consulting industry will see even more possibilities. Teacher Ren Bing... Application of ChatGPT-like Tools in the Engineering Consulting Industry and Future Considerations As the topic suggests, he provided an in-depth explanation of the application of AI technology, which is currently receiving much attention. By analyzing the applications of ChatGPT-like tools, he enabled a broad audience of trainers to fully appreciate how the widespread adoption of AI technology will profoundly transform traditional engineering consulting models, significantly boosting the efficiency and quality of consulting services. At the same time, this development also brings both greater opportunities and new challenges to the consulting industry.

After the training concluded, participants unanimously expressed that the three instructors had delivered lessons from different business perspectives, each with a clear theme, rich content, and highlighted key points. The courses skillfully integrated theory with practice, seamlessly connecting strategies to specific challenges, and proved highly enlightening, instructive, and practical for the next steps in expanding engineering consulting services across member units. We are confident that participants will effectively translate their learning outcomes into powerful driving forces for their work, thereby advancing project planning, construction, and operational management and contributing to Hubei Province’s high-quality economic development.
