Briefing on the Basic Ideas of the 15th Five-Year Plan

At the meeting, the head of the project preparation team focused closely on Gejiu City. The report covered strategic considerations for the 15th Five-Year Plan, the background behind its formulation, the overall guiding principles, and the textual structure. It elaborated in depth that the "Basic Guiding Principles" are fundamentally guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the important remarks made by General Secretary Xi Jinping regarding Yunnan Province. The Development and Reform Bureau of Gejiu City to Supplementary explanations were provided regarding the overall preparation of the 15th Five-Year Plan as well as the assessment and formulation of development indicators. It also represents a strategic opportunity for Gejiu City to undergo high-quality transformation and development and achieve sustainable revitalization. Therefore, it is of great significance to scientifically formulate the guiding principles for the 15th Five-Year Plan. We must clearly define our development positioning, ensuring precision and clarity in our targets, boosting confidence and inspiring everyone across the city to unite and work with determination. Finally, Mayor Wang Xia put forward specific, targeted suggestions for optimization and supplementation, as well as requirements for the next steps in planning work, thereby providing clear guidance for further refining the planning ideas and preparing the subsequent outline.
